Adam Rowley
Gestalt Psychotherapist Advanced Training
I offer weekly psychotherapy at Therapy Space East in Shoreditch on Wednesdays. I work with individuals who are struggling and who want to live more fully: to understand themselves, feel better in their relationships, and find greater ease and meaning in their lives.
My work is existential in orientation and grounded in relational practice. I offer a consistent, thoughtful space in which emotional and relational experience can be explored in depth. I pay attention to what happens between us in the room as much as what you bring to it; that immediacy is often where the most useful work takes place.
I am also a qualified mindfulness practitioner and a Listed Teacher with the British Association for Mindfulness-Based Approaches (BAMBA), the UK's professional body for mindfulness practitioners. This informs, but is distinct from, my psychotherapy practice.
Areas I commonly work with include anxiety and low mood, identity and self-worth, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and questions of meaning and direction. I am particularly attuned to the experiences of LGBTQIA+ clients.
