‘In the safety and intimacy of a good relationship, we can work through unresolved aspects of ourselves and discover more of who we really are, and be less driven to re-enact the past.’ Mary Morgan

Therapy is a resource to address challenges which often leave us feeling stuck, unheard or frustrated with ourselves and within our relationships. Why choose Couples’ Therapy?
‘Thinking is difficult. That is why most people judge.’ Carl Jung
Difficulties in our primary relationship can have a deep and stressful impact on our sense of well being. Couples can find themselves feeling trapped and at an impasse; not knowing which way to turn. The work of couples’ therapy is to unfold your relationship and to face up to what is holding you back from having the connection that you hope for. With proper help, many partners can feel strengthened by the experience. Couples’ Psychotherapy allows for a containing space where partners can safely explore where and why there are difficulties. It facilitates a non-judgmental understanding of the contribution each individual makes to the relationship.
Yanni has worked with couples facing a variety of challenges including communication, conflict, infidelity and commitment, grief, loss, depression, anxiety, trauma, infertility, sexual difficulties, parenting, empty nest syndrome, identity and sexual identity and fluidity.
Why choose Individual Therapy?
Therapy can be a great resource for working through difficulties you are facing in your life. Sessions provide an opportunity to explore the experiences and issues that you feel important. You will determine the pace and the depth of the process. It will enable you to rediscover inner resources and abilities to deal with life's hurdles.
