Therapy can provide a supportive relationship, helping you to gain a sense of clarity and build a greater sense of trust and confidence in yourself. Having the space to explore difficult thoughts and feelings can be very helpful in addressing the challenges you are experiencing so that you can start to feel better.

Together we can gain insight and work through difficult experiences so that you can start to feel more comfortable in yourself and improve your relationships.

My approach and experience

As an integrative counsellor I aim to be open, responsive and present to what you bring to each session. I draw on psychodynamic, humanistic and attachment informed approaches. This means I work with the impact of experiences in childhood and adolescence, but also pay close attention to current relationships and the here-and-now experience in the therapy room.

I trained at the Minster Centre in London, a leading integrative counselling and psychotherapy training institute, covering counselling approaches at depth.

I have worked with relationship difficulties, depression, anxiety, bereavement, feeling stuck, issues related to parenting, fertility, work and creative blocks amongst many other issues. I also enjoy working with people towards discovering a deeper sense of purpose and stronger sense of their own potential. I am sensitive to social, sexual, gender and cultural difference and welcome diversity.

I currently practice privately in Shoreditch and Honor Oak Park. Previously I have worked in counselling services with adults in West Norwood and Queen’s Park where I provided long term therapy to adults with a wide range of issues.

I am a fully qualified and registered Member of the BACP (The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and I abide by their code of ethics.
